​The University of Queensland History Society proudly supports Footnote Journal and students in all things history-related. Whether you study it or simply appreciate past civilisations and cultures, we have something for everyone.

Our friendly executive team run a peer mentoring program where mentees seek assistance from their mentors in their history-related endeavours. If you want to ace that history essay, we also run a series of essay-writing workshops in both semesters to help you get the best possible grade. For our honours students, we run a special program to help you through the fast-paced and erratic nature of the year.

If you’re not a history student, don’t fret! We also run wholesome events where you can meet like-minded people and make new friends. From film screenings to trivia nights to our epic end-of-year events, there are plenty of fun and exciting occasions throughout the year to keep you entertained!
